The Boys & Girls Club of Newburgh is turning 80, and we want to Build the Next 80 Together! As part of the celebration, were partnering with Newburgh Open Studios to launch a community art gallery inside the Club. From the moment we first walked into the building, we knew the bright, white canvas of the 4th Floor Gallery would someday house the vibrancy of our community — and now that day has come.

This gallery lives inside our brand-new Performing Arts Academy Building at 74 Broadway, a space built to be a home for creativity, performance, and opportunity for generations of Newburgh youth to come. We're inviting local artists to help us open it with our very first show — a true inaugural exhibition. Being part of this show means your work helps set the tone for everything this new building represents: a fresh chapter, a launching point, and a space designed to grow alongside the artists and young people who fill it. This moment also marks new leadership for the Club, with a new CEO and a new Director of Performing Arts stepping in to help shape what's next. We want to throw our doors open to the whole community and fill this new space with the diversity of talent that makes the communities we serve what it is.

We welcome all mediums — painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and beyond. Whether you have an existing piece or want to create something original for the space, we'd love to feature it.

The exhibition will participate in Newburgh Open Studios on Sunday September, 27th with an artists’ reception on Thursday, September 24th.
